Rejection Letter #1
I was pleased to see your e-mail in my inbox this morning indicating your interest in this position. In the time since I sent you the original call for expression, I researched this position a bit more to find out exactly the kind of candidate they're looking for. As it turns out, they're not only looking for someone with expertise in immigration (or insert whatever expertise she has), but also with strong operational experience in border security issues (or insert whatever experience she is lacking). However, I would like to thank you though, for getting back to me so quickly, as your interest allowed us to make a more informed selection by providing us with a larger pool of expertise from which to draw. It was also great to connect again and update your file. I'll be sure to get in touch with you right away if any government or international agencies express a need for someone with your skills-set and experience.
